		David Bensimon graduated in 1988 with multiple national awards and top of his class in the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of British Columbia. He has since had 20 years of experience with interbank, exchange-floor, and proprietary trading across foreign exchange, interest rate, equity, and commodity markets. His institutional career at top-tier investment banks in Europe for a decade included positions of chief dealer, head of trading, and chief of staff, and he also spent a year on the floor of a major Asian futures exchange. For the past decade Mr. Bensimon has published his forecasts of global markets with well-documented precision via his Australian-based consulting firm, Polar Pacific. The Special Edition of his book, Polar Perspectives, has been honoured with two gold medals at international competitions. His monthly series, PolarView, has consistently predicted key turning points for major markets, including correctly calling exact volatile movements in 2008.
